Amir Taaki
Amir Taaki is Co-Founder of the London based Bitcoin Consultancy, as well as being a developer of bitcoin. He wrote the original currency exchange software, the stock exchange client, bitcoin poker software and an end user GUI for bitcoin. Prior to working in bitcoins, programmed video games and has 10 years of experience with open-source software. Now he's working on the Bitcoin Consultancy's rewrite of bitcoin- libbitcoin which will enable bitcoin to scale and people to quickly start building bitcoin applications.

Rick Falkvinge
Rick Falkvinge is the founder of the first Pirate Party and a campaigner for next-generation civil liberties and sensible information policy. In particular, he stresses how the copyright industries work in collusion with Big Brother hawks to erode or eliminate the parts of Internet that guarantee our civil liberties. On the end of May 2011, he announced that he was investing all his savings into bitcoins. He was even taking a loan to buy more bitcoins. He has been listed as one of the 100 most influential people in Sweden by Fokus magazine.

Vladimir Marchenko is running one of the largest private Bitcoin mining operations in the UK and probably the world under Marchenko Ltd. He is the founder of bitcoin.org.uk and a distributor and service provider for Bitcoin mining rigs. He is known as an author of the p2p websites filedonkey and figator.org, has run FIDO node in Russia in early 90's, worked for Russian Ministry of Defence, and for companies such as Coca-Cola, Pipex, Ebuyer as well as founded and run a number of private companies in the UK.

Jim Burton is the lead developer of MultiBit. For the previous ten years he has worked using Java at financial software houses including Banctec and Infor. He now works full-time on MultiBit doing his part in bringing Bitcoin to everyone.
Clemens Cap
Clemens Cap is a professor for information and communication services at the university of Rostock. His current research interests focus on distributed systems and their application to secure and private content dissemination. Being particularly proud of this "the proof is more of a nerd than the students" feedback once earned in a Web 2.0 class he is currently analysing Bitcoin and other completely decentralized architectures from a technical point of view as well as with the aim to understand their impact on society.

Detlev S. Schlichter
Detlev S. Schlichter is an author and Austrian School Economist. His first book Paper Money Collapse – The Folly of Elastic Money and the Coming Monetary Breakdown was published by John Wiley & Sons in September 2011. Mr. Schlichter has appeared as a commentator on television and radio (Sky News, Reuters TV) and his editorials have been published by The Wall Street Journal, TheStreet.com and mises.org. He is a senior fellow at the Cobden Centre, London, a free-market think tank devoted to issues of money and banking. Mr. Schlichter had a 19-year career as an investment manager in international financial markets.
