Amir Taaki is Co-Founder of the London based Bitcoin Consultancy, as well as being a developer of bitcoin. He wrote the original currency exchange software, the stock exchange client, bitcoin poker software and an end user GUI for bitcoin. Prior to working in bitcoins, programmed video games and has 10 years of experience with open-source software. Now he's working on the Bitcoin Consultancy's rewrite of bitcoin- libbitcoin which will enable bitcoin to scale and people to quickly start building bitcoin applications.

He is known as an author of the p2p websites filedonkey and figator.org, has run FIDO node in Russia in early 90's, worked for Russian Ministry of Defence, and for companies such as Coca-Cola, Pipex, Ebuyer as well as founded and run a number of private companies in the UK.
